Mama's SO proud....

Yesterday was Karley's first Tball game.. Don't know why they call it tball-- the coach pitches to them.. They get 3 pitches and if they don't hit it then, they set the tee up. Well, my Karley didn't need the tee at all!!! I'm so proud. She did great!! And she fielded the ball 2-3 times, and threw it to first base-just as we've practiced!

That really helps a coach, when the parents practice with their kids at home. When I coached the 10 and unders a few years ago, I felt like the parents used it as a babysitting gig. They would not work with the kids at home on their fundamentals. I know how much you love ball, so it doesn't surprise me that Karley picked up some natural talent, but practice is the key!

I think that you might have a little ball player on your hands! That is great! I hope my kids one day will have some of the natural ability (I know practicing has a lot to do with it as well) and take after Kevin and I b/c we are both die hard ball players...still playing co-ed ball now!

Oh, yeah Mandy, I think most of our team is using it as 'social hour' and a babysitter.. You KNOW I'm taking it seriously.. I depise to see her in the field picking grass, etc.
Michele: still playing, you go girl!! I wish I was!
